Texan Draft Prospects

Well, everyone's clamoring for some draft information. I will start with my # 1 to click, but I need a little help from the Browns. Who said Reuben Droughns was not a franchise player? I think he is a damn fine player......Uh, Oh getting sidetracked with my fondest Brown memory. Let me take you back to a Sunday Night football game in 1991 when Bubba McDowell was patrolling the secondary for the Oilers. Anybody remember the hit when he laid out the Browns receiver. House of Pain baby!

There's nothing worse than "everyone clamoring." "Everyone" is rejoicing in the fact your trip down memory lane has reached 1991... Re: #1 Pick.. I would be surprised if the Raiders DON'T take Jamarcus Russell... The Texans crack research team is busy scouring the ranks of potential very late bloomers to add to their list of wasted #1's...

Maybe so, I don't see either QB's being availabe in the 8th pick. So it is a possibility. I also like Jarret. It wouldn't be a bad idea to trade our pick down for two late in the draft picks if this is so. The reason is that there are so many good pics in this draft that will be available in the second and third round it isn't only a first round draft this year like last. So is our best look to to keep the 8th pick or not? I am not sure.

If the Texans can get two later 1st round picks for #8, they should do it. Obviously they need quantity at the moment. They're won't be any game changers available at #8. The Texans watched that ship sail last year.
